We were very fortunate to be able to salvage all the confidential pupil records before they were disposed of prior to the demolition of the current buildings. If you would like your very own school record ( many of these contain the photographs taken of you at age 11 and 14 ) then email me here ( use the little envelope symbol under this box ). There will be an admin / P&P charge of £15 to sort through the 30000+ cards and to post it off to you.

Let me know your FULL NAME and Attendance Years. This is because there are many instances of people with the same name.

If we have your dates then that should ensure you get the correct card.

A photo from the Bill Barker archive

Bill Barker has sent this "The attachment was taken by me during my last year at PCGS and includes me (back row extreme left). Copies of the photo were sold to Form 5L members in aid of the School War Memorial Fund which financed a sports pavilion which was built shortly afterwards.
From memory, the line up is:
Back row L to R; Barker, ?, ?, Presland, ?, ?, ?, Metcalf, ?, ?, Hills, ?, Smith, ?, Moon, ?:
Middle row: Tester, ?, Amies, Mr Baldwin (Baldy), Howe, Blake, ?, ?;
Front row; ?, Bull, Laker.
I left PCGS and joined the 6th Form at Wallington CGS due to a family relocation."

Old Boys at the Rugby World Cup

An amazing coincidence - Graham Tong ( 1st XV 1973/74 ) writes "I cannot recall the last time I saw Steve Henson, but I turned around on Saturday night at the Stade de France and there he was – two rows behind me. It must be at least 25 years!"

School panoramic photos

At last I have found a way of displaying the huge panoramic photos. Click on the links on the right side menu to see them all. Even the HUGE The Final Renunion 2007 Panorama is there now - and ALL the other school panoramas too. There surely must be some others in existence ? - there is a gap from 1952 until 1970.

Any one there in the late 1950's or 1960's have any info on the missing photos ?

You can explore them by clicking the links at the top right of this page.

Using the controls underneath the image you can zoom in and pan left and right. Pongo Paine would have been proud.

Kingsley Gregory, former Head of Geography writes...

He recalls having had some cartoons of a Snowdon trip from 1983 ...

"I have only just remembered them and with considerable hunting finally found them. I feel sure you will be amused at the truths that lie therein from your experience of Geographical Studies in Snowdonia. As you can see from the title page they were drawn in 1983 by Nick Lenson (a good forename to be sure!). Each day of the fieldtrip he would draw a sketch to highlight a certain happening (or at least his humorous view of things !). I am sure you will find them very amusing and a reminder of old times. He bound them into a booklet at the end of the fieldtrip and presented it to me. I had no prior knowledge of this and it came as a wonderful surprise. I am so pleased I kept it and have found it again. Something to treasure."
