The dreaded barbers shop - placehouse lane 2019

At the height of the war against "long hair" waged by the Headmaster, DGS Akers, boys would be given a half crown and marched across the road by a staff member. Here, the barher would be given the cash and told to go to work on a severe short back and sides. His name was Mr Almond.

Anyone got a photo of the shop from the 1970's?
